If you live in the Central US and MWE at Daytona is too far to drive, consider racing with Hobie Fleet 401 and the Shreveport Yacht Club at our annual Holiday In Dixie Regatta, April 13-15. HID will be a Division 14 Points Regatta and will be open to F18s of any make. See the SYC web site at for an NOR and a list of pre-registered boats. We've also set up a Facebook page at ... 1423107754. I hope we haven't offended anyone by having our regatta on the same weekend as MWE, however, their date and venue were published late and by then our event was set. We look forward to hosting you in Shreveport!

Looks like we will have a 17 fleet...6 pre-registered so far. I will work on getting a couple more from Div. 7..

Phil Collins Hobie 17
Bruce Fields Hobie 17
Andy Larson Hobie 17
Slim Johnson Hobie 17
John Mork Hobie 17
Steve Acquart Hobie 17

This is Slim's first 17 regatta in a LONG LONG time. Rumor has it he used to be quite good on a 17 back in the day?
