I don't see a ton of touring photos posted on the site, so I thought I'd post some up from a recent outing.

My wife and I took our Mirage's into the far north of Lake Chelan for a "little" overnight trip (we did roughly 75 miles over two days of casual peddling). Chelan is a jewel of a lake on the eastern side of the Cascade Mountains in Washington, surrounded by stunning snowcapped peaks and incredibly clear water. In summer months, the southern end of the lake can get really busy with boats. The northern end of the lake is just a totally different story. I'd recommend putting in at 25 mile creek campground ($10 a night for relatively secure parking) and heading north. The lake is quite steep, but a careful eye will find many idillic camping sites perched just above the waterline with simply stunning views. Be advised that the weather is mountain weather, and can go to gail in very little time and almost no warning. Wind waves to 6' are not uncommon, and the water is FRIGID until very late in the summer.

Shot over 1200 stills, but these are a few of the keepers that I've gotten to thus far. They really don't do it justice.

I'll be posting more over the next couple of days on my site, linked below. Enjoy, and most important, get out there too!
