Lately, I´m not telling anyone "I´m sailing with my tandem". :D
I was quite scare before to sail it with strong winds but after this... It is so impressive to sail it "solo": the feeling of half of the main hull out of the water; maybe 80% of the centreboard out of the water; feeling how the waves push my boat to fly as my TI bow is facing the sky... AMAZING! so much fun!
I guess that if I had the tramps on I could have capsized...maybe...?
Anyway, many people wonder about sailing solo the Tandem Island. My answer: on this video. I hope you enjoy it. I did.

Spectacular! But wouldn't you have gone faster by reefing the sail a bit to reduce the drag from totally submerging the leeward ama?

Excellent stuff cav. Great bit of work.
Unless you have a patent on it, don't be suprised if that camera angle at 1:29 gets pinched ( stolen ).
