The Hobie 21-SE centerboard pivot pin is held in with (2) flat-head
SS screws that look to be 1" long.

Is that Really long enough ; and what should i use to keep them
from backing out when i put them in ?

Thanks : Bille

They are #10 x 1" screws - you could use a touch of blue Loctite if you wanted - but that's how they were installed back when we still manufactured this model.
