Yes, I've supposedly got one of their two, but I'm getting a bit suspicious. I paid for mine on May 5th. I'm actually up in VT, so I haven't been able to stop by in person and see what's up.

Apparently there is no method to how they are filling the first 2 per dealer order. I am in the panhandle of Florida (Pensacola) and every dealer for the next 3 counties east has the boats, as well as jax and most places in between. Sheesh, they even have them in Canada. It's hard for me to understand how a truck full of pa 12's skips my dealer but smaller towns east of me all have them already. I got the brush off from my dealer, who said Hobie told them the truck with my boat left Cali on may 28th. I find it hard to believe a truck even with stops along I10 hasn't made it to FL in over 2 weeks. I called Hobie but they said they can't tell me when the truck with mine left, rather they would update my dealer and my dealer would call me. Haven't heard back yet.

Like you i'm pretty suspicious and it's really a bummer since i reserved mine in April.

I got mine on Sunday off the truck that stopped in MA. Apparently the truck broke down somewhere before that. They should put a tracker on the truck for folks who are still waiting. Or maybe thats not a good idea...someone might put up a roadblock ato confiscate the boats. I reserved mine in April as well. They estimated mid June, and were on and slightly ahead of target.

Shipping order largely has to do with the dates orders were placed. Trucking schedules and routes will also play a role. There are still initial orders being shipped out so please be patient while they fill in!

My dealer here in the Tampa area received his allotment of two but isn't selling either. He's expecting another shipment as early as next week

My dealer sold one and demo'ed the other. So when I went and bought mine the dealer gave me there demo to use til mine came in with the next order. Now thats a dealer with good customer service. Estero River Outfitters is the best.

Thanks for the clarification. I will try my best to be patient but it's hard when it comes to new hobies! No worries I guess someone has to be last.

I have been waiting somewhat patiently as well, I ordered mine on April 19th for Austin Canoe and Kayak. Rumor has it they have sold over 20 of these and none of their locations have received any. Apparently I get the first one off the truck if it ever gets here. The frustrating part is when another shop gets one and it just sits there not sold! I've also seen two for sale on Craigslist used already, talk about salt in the wound. Hobie certainly doesn't take care of their big dealerships first, thats for sure. Maybe next week. Sometimes buying the best means waiting I suppose.

Spoke with my dealer this weekend and apparently Hobie has a bunch of PA12 hulls laying around, fully assembled. They just need the seat.
Looks like the seat is made in China and that's what is stopping up the production.
They're expecting a shipment as early as June 28th but a more reasonable date is the first week of July.
Still sort of surprised that not every dealer has their allotment of 2 - if I remember correctly Hobie was aiming that every dealer would get their 2 by mid to late May and regular production would be in full force mid June.

That is simply not the case at all. We hand assemble the Vantage seat here at Oceanside. We are filling orders every day - yes there are delays, but not due to supply issue, it's all related to number of units sold vs how many we can build and ship... I'm pretty sure that from day 1 we explained how there would be delays just due to the volume of orders we were receiving on this awesome new fishing model, so we are just asking for patience, they are all shipping as fast as we can build them.

Congratulations, that's some exciting news there. Hopefully Florida will start seeing some additional shipments in the next week or two!
