Im not talking about coating the whole Xbar, just the mounting pad

... dip each foot about 6 or 12 times half way up the triangle and build up a nice thick barrier layer. Its not like this area should see any movement or wear once tightened down.

The stainless bolt to alum. Xbar contact is eliminated by the washer snugging into the coating and the salt is now trapping between the the bottom of the rubberized footing and plastic hull instead of trapped under aluminum

Then again, maybe we could just series wire all the dissimilar metal contact points together and mainline into a couple of Evolve drive units
