planning on going out? We're getting off and on showers in Sarasota right now but nothing really bad. Winds are predicted high teens out of the south which are just about perfect for me. Wave and tide predictions aren't great for going out in the gulf so if I go I'll probably just stay in the bay. Anyone else going out?

We are racing round the island in fort Walton beach. Weather channel says we are looking at 19mph at the start and 25 by the evening. Mostly from the east.

Went down to the boat today. I was wading through about 4 Inches of water tying the boat down to the hurricane tie downs. No way I was going out. Gusts in the mid 30's. The boat ramp was completely under water as was the dock.

Wow! Any damage?

My boat's on a trailer so the boat was high and dry, my feet... not so much.

I'm hoping Saturday works out. For a number of reasons I haven't been out since the Lido race.

not to much damage just the bower next to me was not tied down and drifted over to my boat then the mast got stuck in the tree but it was still touching the rudder and scuffed the edge up. also my boat is kept on the beach wheels. Did you hear that 10 boats got loose of the moorings? and one trimaran flipped off its trailer and hit a stiletto.
