Picked up my PA12 yesterday, installed some 2" pvc on the yak trailer today and off to Lake Murray I went. Using my new Wheeleez scupper cart I launched my new pride and joy. This was not my first day on a yak, but my first with a PA. To say I was disappointed was an understatement! What a dog! No speed to speak of and sluggish to boot!
After expressing my dismay to a friend he suggested I remove the scupper cart. Duh....Anyway, after removing said cart all was great. Lots of speed and really stable. Stablity was really good sitting down, standing not so much. I think this will get better.
Also tried a reentry, easy enough from the rear. Also used the sail, too much candy for a nickle, I will return the sail. That sail mount looks like a good spot for a fish finder...All in all this boat is exactly what I wanted and will be a great addition to the fleet.
My other yaks (Tarpon 160 and 140) are good too. This boat is going to be my saltwater boat, seems like I have to travel so much farther to get to the salty fishing grounds and this boat fits the bill!

That'll do it every time. Congrats on the new PA!

Yep,South Carolina, Lake Murray is just a big bathtub! I like to striper fish the towers on week nights after midnight or real early mornings. We are headed to Mt Pleasant Sunday to catch anything that will hit a mud minnow. Where do you fish?
