I bought a Hobie-branded roller furling jib from a sailor who represented that it was for a H14 turbo.

However, when I went to attach it to my '81 H14T, the internal wire running through it (head to tack on the luff) was A LOT longer longer than the original wire that held my old jib.

The wire sustaining the original jib measures just shy of 13' from the upper forestay's swivel to the actual roller furler it attaches to. This new jib measures 16' on the luff from head to tack and its foot runs about 63" from tack to clew plate.

Can anyone tell me for what Hobie cat this jib is intended?

Many thanks!

My suspicion is that it is a roller-furling jib for a 16, not the 14.
