Awesome video Stringy, but isn't that normal TI sailing? I weigh 140kg and sit in the front seat (to keep the bow down) and I thought everyone sailed a TI with their knees hidden in the spray

I particularly love it when the whole bow is covered with a 2" film of clear water while surfing down a wave.

But I can't stop watching the brilliant video, and the soundtrack is awesome - keep up the singing lessons ROFL

The mirage drives float... don't they?
(Bob, if you look close enough through all that wash, you can see the tether around the crossbar)

Thanks for the comments TJ and Lomcevac.

Thanks again Stringy, this is still my all time favorite TI Video.

I was wondering why this old post had got some recent replies and I see now it was because of your recommendation in another thread. Thanks for that Bob, much appreciated. :)

Here is a link to one of the best video posts ever from Stringy showing a loaded TI, perhaps this will set your mind at ease ( viewtopic.php?f=70&t=38060&p=154879#p154879 ).

fusioneng,
Second that! and thanks for posting this.

Stringy,
Apparently... I never saw this video when it was first released in theaters back in August of last year. Watching it now I laughed so hard, tears were coming down my face! Very-very funny.

The guy in the front seat was your Boss  - Do you still have a job - Did you get a raise, or a demotion afterwards?
Hummmm - Maybe this is why most folks won't go out sailing with me a second time :? .

If you're still employed by this same individual you might want to let him know that your new Haka Benches help make for a much drier ride .

Thanks sEs. I'm glad you enjoyed it. The big guy is still my boss. He actually enjoyed the sailing, though probably not as much as I did seeing him cop a soaking. I work with a great bunch of guys and we all give as good as we get. 8)

Tony,
Have you tried sailing from the back seat yet? You'd be much drier. That was one of the wettest trips I've had on the TI. At times the whole front passenger well was full of water. It was as if the boss was sitting in a bath. Good thing the water temp was OK!
I'm beginning to think the boss lied about his weight. Actually I think we all lied about our weights. I was sure we were inside the TI's weight limit when we set off- but I might have got the calculations wrong!

That is great! I thought you guys were headed for the bottom at the 1:15 mark. I need to show this to my wife as she is hesitant to go out with me and our 7 YO son on our TI.

Thanks PAW.
I'm not so sure it's a good idea showing your wife this clip if you want her to join you!
