Hello all you 18 sailors.

Nationals was crazy windy and full of H18s. 27 Hobie 18s and a good cross section of years. Oldest boat I saw was a 1978 and the newest boat I saw was a 2005. Just a great sight to see.

I believe the boat that won was mid-80's boat which was being sailed by Mark Lewis. (yes the H20 and H16 sailors crashed the party)

We only go two full days of sailing with 5 races on Tuesday and Thursday. Monday and Friday were blowing 20-30 with much higher gusts and Wednesday there was no wind. (go figure)

The Hobie 18 is alive and well. Keep them together and take care of these boats. We hope to see you next year on the water!

And Thank you Fleet 51 for your outstanding efforts to pull this together! Who knew Rex could sing? :D
