There was a book put out in the late 70's earlyb 80's on the Worrall 1000 (back when it was non stop on Hobie 16's).Is there any copies still floating around?

I came across a used copy of this book a couple years ago on amazon and immediately snatched it up. Glad I did, it really is a great book, very cool and lot's of nostalgic pics. It is definitely worth keeping any eye out for this gem. It's spelled "Worrell" by the way. Good luck in your search.

I've got one that came (new) with the trophy for winning the Hobie 18 Atlantic Coast Championships in 1980 at Virginia Beach. There's a picture of me getting it in the Hotline from the fall of that year.

I think that was the last time I raced an 18.
