Hello all,

My wonderful wife just ordered me a PA12 for my birthday! Needless to say I'm SO SO SO excited and can't wait! I have all winter to gear her up!
Any advise on any topic is greatly appreciated! Also info. On MUST haves would be great!

Thanks much
Bruce

Welcome and congrats, first off where are you from and what you will be fishing for for is going to have a large impact on how you outfit your PA.

Thanks everyone! I'm on the N. shore of Long Island, but will be fishing both sides and in between, Stripers, blackfish, sea bass and fluke.

Welcome to the forum.

Since I know there's no way you're going to be safe and sane and wait until the weather warms up, you might want to look at http://www.hobiecat.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=45710. Among other things, it might give your wife an idea of what to buy you for Christmas.

Best of luck,

Jim Clark-Dawe

Welcome!! Got mine last summer and love it. Still have some rigging to do but am not going to get crazy. Fish finder, some rod holders, safety flag and H-bar will probably do it for me. Don't want too much stuff getting in the way but there are some great ideas and folks on this forum. Just spend some time looking around. Enjoy! :)
