I went out Christmas eve day and trolled for late fall king chinook only me and one other boat, I saw two caught one 35-40 lb awesome fish. I missed one take down because I think I almost fell asleep  in the vantage seat. This was my maiden voyage for salmon. I have to hand it to Hobie the 2013 PA 14 is pretty awesome. I trolled for salomon in the bay for 4 1/2 hrs and did not even break a sweat. The tide exchange was 7' and even against the out going tide I was able to maintain 1.5 - 2 mph perfect trolling speed. I live in a small town and I had some locals come up to me and say they parked along the highway and wached me and could not believe how effortlessly I worked against the out going tide. They could not believe it.

I am looking forward to some sturgeon fishing next in the same bay. I will post pictures when I catch my first one on the PA

BentRodyakker, we would love to see pictures from some of your fishing trips. Never been salmon fishing. That sounds like a fun time. Thank you for the report.
