This picture was taken in Alaska by one of our engineers here at Hobie while he was vacationing with his wife.

I asked him the specific location and we looked it up on my map ap on my phone and did a drop pin - so here's a link to the specific location for you. (small village town called Seldovia

There are so many places in Alaska that are just like this. Having lived up there for four years and visited almost every port between Dutch Harbor on the Aluetian Islands and Ketchikan down in the South Eastern part of the state I don't think you'd be disappointed with anywhere you could end up. I know Ketchikan offers kayak tours and adventures with great fishing and exploring available. The one I've read of there does mother ship trips and you can spend a week out camping on an island with your days full of exploring and catching huge halibut, lingcod, and salmon.

I'm moving from Florida to California this summer but look forward to the day that I can live back in the most wild state in the U.S.!
