The touch screen aspect of this technology is what worries me the most in NOHUHU's application.

Hmmm, if I got 2, one for each side of the sail I could run red and green screen savers at night as nav lights....

"the new Samsung flexible, transparent, adhesive computer screen"

Never heard of... sounds almost like a 1/4-joke

Can you please give the name of the product? I'll might find it on the net, but having a name and a link would be good for others also.

Hehe

Original post: Tue Apr 02, 2013 9:29 am

This is what it says to me, but perhaps it says something else to people in Australia. Just thought it rather would say 31/3, with the time difference. Confusing.

When I posted it I missed by a couple of hours so I covered myself by saying 'I installed it yesterday'.

Gave us a bit of a laugh. Would be good though hey !!!

Kind Regards

"All times are UTC + 1 hour" says the page I'm at. It also says "It is currently Fri Apr 12, 2013 10:45 am", which obviously is the Greenwich time. But it doesn´t seem to be the time this message will be logged at! It seems it will be logged at present Californian time!

It still seems like you posted your message at least 9 1/2 hours too late. And rather 24 hours too late, as people don´t use to post april jokes the last minutes of the day, but rather in the beginning of the day!

If you post your april jokes when it's late in the evening of the 1:st of april in Australia it will turn out right in the rest of the world.

People living in California can post april jokes really early in the 1:st of April and get the right date logged, but other parts of the world might then already or almost have reached the 2 of April. So april jokes obviously gets a bit problematic in global forums!

All I say above might not be accurate, which testifies to the difficulties. Perhaps Hobie can post some guide lines for posting of april jokes...
