let me guess, you just bought a trifoiler in Hawaii...
lol,no dude,I haven't buy yet,I'm just trying to learn Trifoilers whether work or not in the winds of İstanbul and Marmara Sea.

It is my understanding that you can get on the foils with winds around 12MPH. If you have the optional ama fairings, that number falls to 10MPH. Most likely these are the respective lower end minimums.
If you study the various set up videos that Dan and Greg did, you will find Greg talking about using the sensor retraction and mast rotation lines to sort of "help" you get on the foils at these lower speeds.
It is also noted that you may find it easier to get on the foils with sail panel removed (reefed).
The last portion of this video has a lot of good tips for getting the most out of the Trifoiler:
http://www.viddler.com/v/a0dfb7e6This post was very helpfull, thanks my friend. As far as I understand it wouldn't be a wise choise to try to sail a hydrofoil sailboat in Marmara Sea or Boshphorus.Out of the last 60 days there were only 3 days that the wind was more than 10 MPH.I don't want to buy and have to throw it away.So upset:(
