A couple friends had the cable snap, never at a convenient time or place.

Thought this might work as a quick on the water repair if the chain cable breaks, using 2 plastic zip ties. May be good to thread a ss washer zip tie first so it doesn't pull thru the chain link?

Haven't tried it yet, hope I don't have to, but may beat paddling back to launch or trying to work with a replacement cable and locknut on the water.
