Bumping this back up because I need to replace the SeaWay blocks that came on the boat. What size do I want for the main, 29mm, 40mm or 57mm?

29 mm triple for the upper, 40 mm for the ratchet (Harken 194, if you can find one).

Isn't the 194 a 57mm block ? & I would've thought a 40mm for the top ?

Aaron and I both scored Harken 6:1 setups off ebay. 194 ratchets.
They are super nice compared to the old seaways!

You're right - the 194 is a 2.25" block = 57 mm

But you want the smallest block for the top = most mast rake.

Shoot, I already ordered a triple 40mm upper based on what's in the Hobie Accessories catalog. Oh well, I guess I'll just deal with the extra .44" of stack height; it's going to be way less than what I have now.
