Hi all,

I'm considering buying a Hobie 16 for the family, its used and I'm trying to decode the serial number. All I can see is CCMP7756M......A1 The first part matches the serial number rules, but there is missing information like the Year and Production Month.

Is this common?

I'd really like to know the year so can zero in on what its age might be.

So it's missing in the same exact spot on both hulls?
