ICAST 2013 is almost here. Does anyone here think there will be any new Pro Angler models announced or possibly new accessories ? I hope so...

Maybe a Pro Angler with built in lights and bilge pump for washing off the deck. :)

Foot controlled steering while standing up!...and a tandem model! Also a dual transducer pod for side scan and down scan transducers ran simultaneously...with a dedicated watertight battery compartment. Along with some Hobie brand web accessories for the vantage seat to hold more blue boxes.

As long as we have a wish list, how about a big block chevy and surface piercing drive.

I vote for more kayak colors options. How about ocean safety oriented colors like orange, pink (for the ladies), red or light blue, etc.

It would be nice if all the colors that are available in the kayak series were available to the PA's.

That would be the colors in the Hobie kayak series Jerry.
I've gotta say, many of the color combos from some of the other manufactures are pretty cool....but agree with you 100% on the "glow in the dark".

This is one feature I really want!

Regarding colours, I would have thought yellow was the ultimate safety colour for ocean use. Orange maybe, but red is very hard to see at night.

Cheers,
Graeme

In my experience most aerial searches usually take place from sunlight to sundown and louder colors like orange, red (like bouys), yellow, lime green, pink are much more visible to search helicopter/airplane rescue crews. Olive green and dune/sand colors are not highly visible from a searching aircraft even flying at low altitudes. Just a consideration request for Hobie for 2014. I'm very curious and definitely not CEO material but do any Hobie higher ups know if adding other colors would raise production costs and lower sale profits?

How about molded in inserts for running lights.

Unless you are a power boat, you don't want running lights! Other power boats will think you have the ability to "power" out of their way.

Good thinking. That did not occur to me.

That's all I can think of really. I'm pretty happy with my PA 12. Other than adding a few more supports in the standing area maybe.
