Stuck my cart in back handle on 1st trip in salt w/ PA12 love it way back out of the way. No issues w/ trolling (T&W) for stripers just great, may add bungee cord just to make sure it stays in place on rough days.

Thanks again NHG

I keep mine in the rear scuppers - sometimes we do long portages from the vehicles and I don't want to leave an expensive cart out for the taking...

My friend had his stolen from a stash spot near one of our launches.

I know this is the PA forum, but when I use my Outback and I have the cart in the rear scuppers, I can loosen the seat back and use it as a solid back rest - really came in handy for those long pedal trips where you want to recline the seat. :)

Will the heavy duty cart float? I notice some of you guys stow your cart in the rear handle.

I just lay my Trax II cart on the back deck with the top of the frame resting on the area with the steering cover and the wheels in the recessed cargo area. I loop the cargo bungees around the wheels to keep the cart secure. This keeps the cargo area behind my seat clear for my tackle box and other gear. You can sort of see how I rig it in this picture.

I don't think those areas would work here in our surf. I will keep my extra lasge kart in my truck. I have a homemade one I can leave at the beach.

I made a PVC mount on the outside of my crate to store my wheels. I sometimes use the balloon tires that the cart came with, but if on a harder surface I use the cheap Harbor Freight Tool wheels.

Any idea if you can fit your trax 2 cart in the rod holders from the H crate Jr?
