Hi Guys,

I have a boat I can purchase but I am not sure what a good price would be.

2002 Getaway in near perfect shape with beautiful galvi trailer. It has been stored indoors and has been used maybe 4 or 5 times.

Jib is still new in the box and the boat comes with an extra factory tramp in the factory bag.

Thoughts?

Hi
you may want to know that I paid a supposedly 2005 with trailer and wings $2750 at beginning 2013.
Though
    fwd tramp was missing
    aft tramp needed replacement
jib was not original and on the warn out side
    main was merely ok
    serigraphs were almost completely gone
mast has signs of large repairs
I could not really negotiate since I was expatriating to africa and I had no other option
I realized that at least 5 more people had refused to buy it a that price.
I would have been much happier with what you say you have in sight for $3500 $4000

if it helps... I just sold my 2008 getaway for $5000 with galv. trailer., new forward tramp, original main tramp (decent condition), original rigging (good condition), main sail original (excellent condition), brand new jib, no wings, stock rudders/stering system. I think I could have gotten $5500... I had several full price offers and I sold to the first to show up with cash.
