New to the forum and will be getting a hobie. I've been in a canoe for while and I'm starting to dream of being on a pro angler. What should I get? I'd like to take my 7 year old son occasionally also. I have access to back bay and lakes.

Thanks

Get a Tandem Island. I've got a Pro Angler. Great Boat. Was in it today, but it'll never be the all-around fishing machine that the TI is. Speed and distance set the TI apart, plus allow you to easily carry a passenger.

X2 on the TI , it's a great fishing platform plus a great family boat, we used to be power boaters but can no longer afford them. We do every thing we used to do with the powerboat and then some. With a TI you can do offshore fishing in big water, plus with the sail (which is simple to learn and use) your possible range is ten times further and way faster.
Both are large boats and most trailer, but either can also be car topped with the right vehicle.

Thanks for the input. Never thought about sailing. I just might consider it.
