It's a few years since I sailed down to Pulbah Island at the southern end of Lake Macquarie to stay for a couple of days.

I apologise for the intro and credits. It took 6 hours to upload and then found that they had been cropped for some reason. But the main parts of the video of the trip are still intact. Hope you like it.

Great video, Slaughter! Wow. Talk about setting the bar high....

That spray shield is beginning to look pretty professional. Can you eat those mollusks that seemed to be everywhere? "Here comes the sun" by Ritchie Havens is one of my all time greats. Your Aussie version was good. That DIY jerky looked pretty good (but, I don't eat beef any more.)

BTW, nice music. I recently looked at a fellow's fishing video and in his post he said, "Turn up the sound and enjoy." Man, the music was terrible--too loud, too noisy, I muted it--the video was OK.

Thanks, Slaughter.

Keith

Thanks for your comments Keith. Yeah it seems to collect stickers, beer labels, etc. for some reason. And sponsors who advertise and pay big bucks for me to go sailing ( I wish ).
That Here comes the Sun version was American by Jewel and Rob Thomas from Matchbox 20. Thought it fitted in pretty good. She's one of my fav's.
( I sent you an email Keith and forgot to add a subject, so if you see one without a subject and looks a bit suss, it's from me. )

Thanks NOHUHU - have a great Christmas mate.

Mate, ...what Keith said!
Really enjoyed that. 8)
Another very watchable Slaughter production.
Could be retitled "Robinson Crusoe meets Masterchef".
Loved the "truish" story and thought once Israel was mentioned we were going to get more details of the "heavy dew".
So glad it was a different, much better tale!

I always enjoy watching your videos. Very well done with lots of attention to detail.

When will we see your significant other sailing along with you?

Thanks Stringy - I say that Deb has a different spin on that story because she recalls that when I hit her with that classic chat up line, she reckons she replied 'P_ _ _ of _ _ _ ker'. But that's not the way I heard it.

Paul - The feeling is mutual. One of my favourite video clips to date is still that one where you crossed the Bay returning from your meeting with ......I forget his name....was it Renee ? I still haven't been able to catch the true size of the waves like you did in that clip. Deb hasn't got the same passion for sailing unfortunately. That OK, I haven't got the same passion as her for the dog ( as is evident in the 2nd half of the video )
