We had some fun this past Saturday and Sunday out on Lake Manatee. If any locals haven't tried it, it's worth a sail. We had all three colors represented on Sunday ...and some great wind as you'll see and hear. Sorry it's a little shaky, but it's a cheap camera and I was out on the trampoline :-)

Adding a few pics also...

Nice video and photos. It's great to be able to sail with other folks in similar boats. Most of my sailing is done with people who are in different boats, with different speeds and capabilities, so we don't really travel together. We see each other at the launch and the landing, or on the occasional pass. Unless you have a passenger, you sail alone.

This is why the Island Club idea has so much merit. I've only found one other Island owner in all of North Carolina (with the amount of water here, the population and the generally pretty good weather, I'd have thought there were hundreds here). But I remain hopeful to run into some other Island owners as time goes by.

Thanks Tom. We love sailing and usually do it where we're the only TI, but yes, it is neat to sail with like vessels!
