Hey Dwest.
I would try Isleton, Viera's resort area and /or the Rio Vista-Brannan Island-Decker Island-Sherman Island areas. Sherman Island has a nice launch area that will get you into the mix without fighting currents right off the bat. I heard the Salmon fishing has not been too good this year but you could do Stripers,Bass,Catfish, Sturgeon and Steelhead from these areas if the Salmon was no good. So bring the kitchen sink if you go.
Not as many speed boats out at Sherman as there would be in the Isleton area. You could also try Steamboat Slough or Miners Slough areas if those were closer to you. For Salmon, use Big double blade Silvertron spinners or big Flat fish lures, wrapped in sardines, then toss it out and down to the bottom using bout a 2 or three oz sinker with a few feet of leader to your lure so it swims off the bottom. Then just sit there till you get a hit.
Did ya get your A.I. phone call yet..?
Tight lines..let us know if you do any good out there
