I don't use a "true" stakeout pole (10-15') per se, but a
YakAttack 8'
Park-n-Pole, which seems to work well when fishing the flats.
I carry the P-n-P on the right side of the PA12, which is also the side that I have the anchor trolley installed on. I used small sections of
STS for padding/sound deadening on the gunnels and side-handle base's. The pole is kept in place by the keeper bungee that was meant to secure fishing rods (2) that are stored inside the gunnels, I added a
Bungee Button from HOOK1 as the attachment point for the bungee loop.
This is my old PA12...I copied this over to my current
SpeedBump Yellow PA12.
