I put some VHS tape just below the jib furler today, worked really well. And was helpful.

Any other ideas or is there something specific?

Instead of tape, try knitting wool. I use two pieces, one on each side of the bridle. I found tape would tear off while trailering but the wool would last all season.

These work great. And dont stick to stuff when they get wet. Easy on and off too.
