FYI: been seriously into a Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta river salmon investigation:

Given many of these folks are bank and wading fishers, with the others using very slow drift or trolling, I see no obstacle to kayak deployment for these bad boys.

There aren't any salmon here to fish for, but if there where I think I would try it... Makes me want to go down to the farmers market and buy a slab for smoke'n. :lol: Think any of these techniques would work on lake stripers?
