Thanks Matt, couple questions here:

1. Is this a 'bag' or can I lay on ground, put kayak on top, close and zip? I'd like either option.
2. Is the center strap long enough to wrap around the PA14, read another post that indicated it would not be long enough.

Thanks for the help!

If you click on the "Accessories tab above" and go to the kayak accessories, you will find the covers Matt was speaking about.....here is the text:

UNIVERSAL KAYAK COVERS
Protect your kayak from the effects of the weather, UV rays, dirt, leaves and birds. We have chosen sizes to fit the entire line of Hobie Kayaks. These covers are easy to install or remove, fits over the hull (like a fitted sheet on a mattress). Straps and pull string adjust for a tight fit. Cross straps secure the cover on your hull for windy conditions. Heavy duty UV resistant canvas
material in a neutral color for better aging. These covers fit over the hull when upright or upside down. To help prevent distortions to the hull bottom shape, Hobie recommends that our kayak hulls be stored upside down resting on the cockpit rails. This is also best for deflecting rainwater and prevents water pooling in the cockpit or on the cover. When planning to store a hull
upright, be sure to properly support the hull bottom to prevent hull distortions

There is a picture of a cover on a TI...the cover design is the same as any other boat cover found on the market......no zipper enclosure.

I bought a Hobie cover that my dealer recommended and was not happy as the cover did not fit well. I ask my wife who does custom hand bags & duffle bags if she could make me one. She made a template and ordered Sunbrella fabric and after about a week she finished the cover. The fit is perfect and now I just have to pay the bill. Hope I get the family discount. I would post a pic but have not figured that out yet.

+ 1 ........

Cover barely fits and the straps are too short so the are useless ........ The PA is the bastard child of Hobies offerings .......the most expensive but most of the accessories won't fit ...... The cover ..... The out riggers etc

I store my PA on the trailer outdoors so I needed a good cover that would protect it from UV and be breathable and last so that is why I went with Sunbrella material. I looked everywhere for a cover made for the PA but never found one so that is why we made our own. I would post a pic but I hate signing up for Photo Bucket but will think about it.

The belly strap should fit now. That was updated some time ago. They are universal, but are very adjustable using the pull rope and end cinch straps.

Well ........ I have 2 covers with useless straps on 2 Pro anglers ....Have to use a bunch of bungees to make it work ..... they also barely fit across the top ........ other than that, they are well made

I'm pretty sure you can get extensions from Danuu to solve the issue.

Matt ........ are these the clips that will fit because I have tried a bunch of clips and they don't fit. I have strapping but I can't find the clips. Does this company make the covers?

I bought "12' x 16' Dry Top Heavy Duty Silver/Brown Reversible Full Size 10-mil Poly Tarp item #212167" on amazon. Fold it lengthwise, silver side out. Installed some grommets.

Now I have a 16' x 6' really sturdy and waterproof tarp. I use common bungee cords to secure tarp to the kayak (it sits atop of my HF trailer). Being 6' wide, it has enough overlap on the sides of the boat to protect it from sun rays. Sun will fray it over time, buy another tarp when it happens.
