The pin that stores in the top of one of the posts to lock the Trax into the Hobie after installing the cart - the plastic head came off both the elastic cord and the pin itself. Of course the elastic strap is now retracted into the post. Anyone know how to put this back together, or have a different approach to the pin altogether? Using an allen wrench currently as my workaround, but like the original Hobie concept that keeps the pin right where you need it.

Thanks for any help.

Mark

If you have the parts... pull the cap off the bottom of the frame. The shock cord is attached.

Insert the end of the shock cord into the cap along with the pin and press together with a vise or hammer. Some blue or red Loc Tite, or epoxy can make the connection tighter. Tie a line to it to feed back down through the frame to the cap.

If you lost the pin or cap: 80044151 PIN W/SHOCK CORD - CART KEEPER $7.39 (USD / USA 2014)

Fantastic. Would epoxy help to keep it all together? Many thanks for the help!

Does anyone have the pin dimensions? My pin came out of the cap & have been unable to find it. Thanks
