Hey I see your from Rockford, I spent most of my life there until moving to Florida in 2007. I had a sunfish and went up to Madison quite a bit, I'm also a pilot and we would fly over lake Geneva quite a bit and would alway see sailboats out. Not much else close by sailing wise. I now have a TI I wonder if I bring it up during the summer to visit my kids who all still live up there if it would be worthwhile.
Just a thought...
Bob

Video, I see a Ralph's Surf session in the near future. I know someone with a photo boat. :-) Surf and wind are up this week…

Hammond is a buddy of mine and knows that years ago I was CRUSHED by a huge wave while shooting photos (Hobie One 12 / Holder 12) for a magazine shot at Ralphs. He has a photo boat... I (Hobie) have a T2 and he thinks I should do it again (I assume for his amusement :) !).

This is the keeper shot. There is also a sequence where I was becalmed... the photo boat left me... huge wave... surfing the face, stuffed to the mast with rudder straight up... boat pops up in the air without me.

I sailed the T2 at Ralphs last weekend. It was a good time! Nice wind, warm water, decent waves...
