One of the click & go receivers seems to have a broken or missing spring. It will not lock closed with Mirage Drive or Evolve motor inserted. How to replace this spring? How to remove receiver?

I have a 2012 year PA14 with V2 stainless steel style receiver.

They can be removed with a 3/16" allen wrench with a ball end, through the two small holes in the top of the plastic cap that's how they're held onto the kayak. If you need help see your dealer - they can get you replacements directly. http://www.hobiecat.com/dealers/

Thank you Mr. Bernier for the quick response. The assembly is only missing the spring. Must have broken. It works manually but mirage drive seems loose on that side.
What part number do I ask the dealer to order for the spring only.

Perfect! Thx guys. Took the left side click-n-go out & found a broken spring.

A year later & the right click & Go has failed....Same failure mode. The spring broke.

Any other folks have this issue?

My right side spring just broke as well. I'm assuming the cost is low (it's a tiny spring, sent to do a big job) so will order a couple pair.
Are these easy/intuitive to install, or will I need to take the handle cover off the good one, to see how it's routed?
Thanks all
Mac

I replaced the right click and go today, it was worn and unstable, causing the spring to break i believe. I was able to remove it , although the screw towards the front is a little difficult to access . On the re-install i removed the 2 small screws that keep the plastic "housing " together on the click and go , and that allowed easy access to the screw .
