Can you fit two adults on a Revo 13 safely? The weight limit is 350 but could one go over that? How about if the revo has side kicks would that aid in weight limit or just stability?

That's really pushing things. It's a one person (adult) kayak so anything other than a very small child is just asking for a dunking at some point. I'm sure some do it occasionally, but it's just not intended as a two person boat.

Or you might want to consider a tandem kayak, like an Oasis.

Listed capacity is not just about absolute weight limit -- the Revo 13 can easily handle the weight. But there are also the matters of center of gravity and center of longitudinal stability. Listed capacities assume passengers are in the designated seating areas with + limited cargo weights in the cargo area. In other words, with too much combined weight in the back, the bow can come out of the water and destabilize the boat. So with a second person in the back, the maximum safe carrying capacity would decrease somewhat. Common sense applies here -- if the boat feels tippy with a second person aboard, be sure to wear your bathing suit! 8)

I would assume that a little kid back there would be no problem? Thinking of taking my niece out for large mouth bass. The original post was intended for a full size person.

Yes, your 70# child should be no problem -- even if he grows a little bit! 8)

Mirroring what everyone else said the weight limit is not a hard number, but the closer you get to it the more unstable it's going to be.

If you are just going to be around a calm pond, you should be ok, but anything with moving water, it may get a little shady.

I have a 10 year old girl and last year I had her on the back of my revo 13. While she was ok for a short period of time, she quickly grew tired of the awkward sitting position. I am now the owner of a Tandem Island...

Yeah was thinking about a calm pond for a friend to join me. I took it as a given that a little kid would be fine. I want to take my niece out to put her on to some large mouth bass. She is little I'm not worried about her fitting.

Tandem island, now you're talkin!

My wife is 115 and 5'1" and that is her favorite spot on the and Rev 13 and the Outback. We use a small stadium chair that fits on both models, it would be placed facing backward so she can fully stretch her leg on deck.

I took my revolutions (11 & 13) to a bachelor weekend in Key Largo. The groom to be and a smaller friend of his tried to navigate on the Revo13... it was frickin hilarious, they rolled 3 times laughing the whole time... until they came back to upright position and found out they lost my new CV seat :| But we found it a few hours later, so its all good

My point is, 2 adults on a revo13 is possible, but not advisable.
