This cart looks pretty interesting (sorry about the large image).

Looks like it would work great and be adjustable to just about any hull. I wonder if it would stow in the front hatch?

I doubt it, it looks too big. Strapping it down in the back might work.

Wonder how it would hold up to saltwater? Those tires/rims look like a bike tire. My beach bike wheels are rusted as heck!

There may not be enough room from the tire top and the padded bars for a hobie. The hobie may rub the tires.

Cabelas has a cart for sale too.

I just ordered this today for my tandem. It is a bit of a gamble but I figured it is worth the try. As it turns out I am going out solo more than I am with a partner so I'm praying for someway to walk it to the water easier than what I am doing now. I'll post and let you know this week if it works. It arrives Wednesday!!

UPDATE: The cart arrived and was so easy to install. Prior to this purchase, I had a very difficult time getting my tandem mirage drive kayak to the water with help or solo. Today with the help of this cart I was able to get the kayak to the water with ease. It should be noted that the strap provided with the cart isn't the best option. I replaced that strap with a rachet strap system for just $7 and quickly resolved that issue.

The things I was most worried about regarding the width and size of the Hobie were not a concern with this cart. The cart claims to hold 300 lbs weight limit. The tires are of amble size and there is no rub on the kayak at all. The cart folds to a compact size and is easily stored on the kayak. What an exiting day it has been today!
