Gotta be honest. After looking at the NOR, fees, insurance issues, registration, lodging, travel expense and realizing i'm gonna need well over $3000 in maintenance ( new tramp, mainsail ect ) to get my H20 ready and stay 100% OEM and in any kind of competitive condition whatsoever, I'm going to have to pass on the event or just show up to spectate. I can perhaps talk Jay (commodore) from OSYC into letting me leave my H20 on the beach at the club for someone to use for the regatta if anyone wants. I sail my 20 at all OSYC open class regattas that I can, usually 3 per summer at a week each. Hulls are solid and tight, mast is straight and the boat rights easily in a capsize.
