Hi,

I have an 09 outback and For some reason my drive just pop free and has to be re-clicked back into place. is this just a problem with the click and go. the problem seems to be only on the right side but is starting to happen on the left side.

Thanks in advance
Kai

If you have a click'n'go drive (which I assume you do have on an '09 boat) then you need to ensure you have the correct Drum Shaft per Matt's post, but you may also find the drive will pop out of one side if the drum shaft is not properly centred in the drive (i.e. an equal amount of drum shaft sticking out on either side of the drive).

I had a problem with my drive releasing the clip on one side and centering the drum shaft solved it in one go.

It is an easy adjustment to make: just slacken off your cables, tap it into position with something suitable and re-tighten the cables.

Hope this helps.

So are you saying that if you tighten up the cables, then the drum shaft will not slide off center? My 11 Oasis is kicking out on one side.
