One of the screw threads that secure the rudder line appears to be stripped. Any suggestion on how to fix the stripped threads? Any alternative methods of anchoring the rudder lines to the rudder? I can't tighten the left side screw all the way, and have experienced slight slippage on the left steering line as a result.

Larger screw or place a piece of toothpick in the hole and reinstall the screw maybe? Otherwise... make a warranty claim for a replacement rudder.

Matt, I'll try a longer screw (I think that's what you mean) or the toothpick trick. Warranty claim last resort, it's fishing season! thanks.

Interesting, do you have a specific size screw I should try? For now I'm tying the spectra to the screw, still getting a little bit of slippage by the end of the day.
