check with Sandy Point Progressive in Daytona, they're the local dealer and may be able to point you in the right direction. Their phone # is 386.756.7564

Also, if you ever go down to Melbourne there is a dealer down there which has an active Wave racing club. Their phone # is 321.253.3737, Performance Sailing.

I'm a lone wave sailor in the ponce inlet area and would appreciate some company from a fellow wave owner. There are several Hobie owners around Daytona Beach, however, I don't believe there are any organized events or gatherings. If your interested in starting a Hobie club I'm sure that i would be interested in joining and organizing events. The Sandy point recently began selling Hobie cats but I have not spoken to them about sailing clubs yet. I launch at the light house boat ramp and sail out the inlet and around the inter coastal waterways. It is also very easy to do beach launches there also...

Im in Ormond Beach and sail from the beach, Have a getaway but went down and sailed a wave in Rick whites sailing seminar, learned alot and had a blast. Ive had 16s before but the wave is truely a fun boat!
Its a great one class boat and getting a fleet toghther to race would be awesome. Thinking of picking up a wave for solo but unsure how good she can punch through the waves. Years ago Feet 80 was real strong and used to always launch and meet on the beach. They have been absorbed into the Halifax Sailing Association. Mostly 16s I believe. www.fleet80.com and www.halifaxsailing.org are there respective web sites. Unfortunatly ther main class I believe is still sunfishes that they race. Been a little while since ive been over there. Good guys just don't like sailing in the River, not as convenient as taking off from the beach. Fleet 80 still has 2 good races a year in the ocean, push for the wave class to be added.
