Last week I was using my 2016 i9s and all of a sudden, the rudder control had a lot of resistance when trying to move the controller. Then, with a "jerk", the resistance was gone, but I had no rudder control. Upon looking at the cables, one of them appeared to either have come loose or broken somewhere within the sheath. I have previously asked my dealer whether my S/N was one affected by the cable recall, and they stated that when the recall came out they sent all their stock back to Hobie for replacements.

Has anyone else had the rudder cable problem on the 2016 i9s (or any other 2016 inflatable)?

Thanks in advance,
Noel

May be the same issue... Contact the dealer again. Warranty can review.
