Replacing steering control line.

I bought the rudder control line kit. Has 4 lines and 4 plastic tubes.
Two of the lines are longer than the other two.
I am assuming the longer lines are replacements for the steering lines. Shorter lines replacements for up/down rudder control.
I was told the steering lines go through the left and right holes in the back of the hull and through the tubes (obviously).
Does the other end go all the way back to the rear tiller control under the hull? How is it attached? Can't see where the end of the line attaches to the tiller as it is inside the boat.

Thanks. Unfortunately, I have a pre 2015 TI. Manual doesn't have anything on replacing steering lines. The manual for the new TI goes into depth about changing lines, but the new TI is quite different.

I'll get a mirror so I can get a better look down below.

I am unaware of any changes to the lines on a TI. Can you please advise what is different (Matt? Any input?)

OTOH, I watched a hobie video on rudder replacement, and the guy didn't go all the way back to the tiller. He just cut the steering lines at the rudder, removed the ends attached to the rudder head, fed the new lines from the rudder head to the rear hatch, where he tied them to the cut end leading back to the tiller.
