Is it worth to buy it? Seems the price is a little bit high.

This depends hugely on your needs. Do you need a boat that is relatively light and will fit in compact places?



Do you need a boat that will launch anywhere?



A boat that is very stable and you can scuba dive or swim off it?



A boat that works well solo as well as tandem?



Something with enough potential power to bring additional friends and family along?



If it fits your needs then it is probably well worth it!

I am very satisfy with the i11s I have right now.
For the i14t I am still thinking to buy or not because of the price.

That's a good question. Unfortunately the answer is no. As a rough general rule, doubling your power adds about 1 kt of speed, but with the extra weight and drag of a second person and Mirage Drive, you would probably be looking at half that. This is because drag increases much faster than speed. If you're interested, here is an article on the topic. Toward the end there are some examples of speed and power required for a couple of different kayaks. Also note, whereas shorter, fatter kayaks are slower at higher power levels, this does not hold true at lower power levels.

Hello everyone, my name is Alex. Recently a childhood friend invited me to celebrate his birthday on the river bank, we went with tents for a few days. He also had a kayak in the trailer for 2 seats and I suddenly liked very much to boat on it. so I want to buy myself one too and start regularly. So do you have any suggestions which to pick? I`m looking for more information and reviews now.

Hi Alex and welcome to the forum. The best boat for you depends on many factors -- more info would be helpful. Each boat has plusses and minuses. For instance, inflatables are best for those who have limited space, need light weight or want to travel with their boat. The i-9 is like a little pocket boat; the i-12 is excellent for carrying extra gear like scuba equipment; the i-14 is best for 2 people.

If you like to fish, you might look at a Pro Angler or Outback; If you want something small and light and are not tall, the Sport is a great option. For a great relatively light but responsive boat I like the Revolution 11. The Revolution 13 is an excellent all around boat including sailing, whereas the Revolution 16 is fastest, smoothest and best in heavier chop and swell. The Oasis is very versatile (solo or tandem) and capable -- one of my favorites. The new Compass is a value leader and excellent for general use or fishing, but not sailing.

So your size, intended use and transport / storage considerations will help whittle down the field!
