I need a little help... Recently I ordered a fwd and rear aka as well as a ama for a mod that I'm doing to my PA14. I finally got around to start assembling it after receiving the parts a few weeks ago. When I went to put it together I noticed that the fwd aka (the top ring) extended above the ama although the tip was fully seated inside the ama. Did they build this wrong? No issues with the rear aka. I have attached some images. The ama is a 2014 model and the akas are 2015 models.

The 2015 amas are deeper than the 2014 amas. You need pre 2015 akas to fit the 2014 amas.

Thanks for the reply Hogman! :)

Do you know if Hobie sells the stainless rivets used on the akas or would you happen to know the size? I'm thinking to relocate it to where it should be for the ama I'm using.

A 3/16" x 1/4" grip rivet should be perfect.
