Just joined the hobie world with my new 2019. When I flipped it over it looks like the skupper tubes were forced in and scratched them all up. I’m assuming it’s superficial and won’t cause any issues but curious if anyone else has seen this. Image

These are tapped and threaded in. Rough bits lose that should have been cleaned up, but this is OK.

It’s an eye sore, if it makes you feel better every kayak I bought was scuffed in some way, the plastic gets scratched so I just tell myself that, but I can see your concern from a function stand point. The couple times I had an issue Hobie took care of me. I’m a self admitted fanboy though. Someone asked me once what the best kayak was, I laughed and said hard to answer. I use to paddle wilderness 15years ago tore my shoulder stopped kayak fishing, friend let me borrow his Hobie revolution and 5 hobies later I told him I use Hobie cause they haven’t given me a reason not to.
