I bought a BerleyPro Orb and want to mount it on my H-Rail. It comes with a Railblaza E Starport. Which Hobie H-Rail mount do I want that will fit it, the Railblaza H-Rail HD mount or the Railblaza mini-port?

Thanks in advance.

That's what I used for my Railblaza and Navisafe light and it's good.

Mark, what mount did you use specifically?

You need to use the E mount as the base since that mount provides the power to the BerleyPro Orb 360 light. But the E mount won't mount on your Hobie H-Rail without an additional piece.

I actually ordered a Hobie H-Rial Universal mount for the H-Rail and I will mount the BerleyPro E mount onto that which will provide power via the 12V connection of the E Mount.

I put the above here just in case anyone else is interested in how to mount their BP Orb. I have seen this mounted to the H-Rail on an H-Crate or the rear grip area. The rear grip area isn't going to work for me because of the Hobie PowerPole adapter takes up that spot. If you are not mounting a Micro PowerPole, the center of the rear grip also works.

I use the Railblaza RailMount 32-41 on my h rail. Has a starport base and I use it for my rod holders,

That WON'T work for the BerleyPro Orb, no electrical connection.

This is a link to the Railblaza E Mount that is needed for the Orb 360 light: https://www.railblaza.com/products/e-se ... -starport/

I was asking about a way to mount an E Mount on an H-Rail. The only way that I see as viable, is to mount the E Mount on a H-Rail universal mount.

If anyone has another way to get an Railblaza Starport E Mount which is an electrical 12 V connection on the Hobie H-Rail, I would still love to hear your ideas. Thanks.

It looks like you should be able to screw that mount directly onto the h rail mounting plate.
