Saw this online and a utube video of how to do this.
Anyone do this? Can I buy a kit from Hobie or can my dealer?

There is no "kit" for that.

Parts pricing makes it somewhat cost prohibitive.

I've never done it. It doesn't look hard but it looks like having the proper tools is necessary.

It takes about an hour and the "kit" from Mariner Sails worked perfectly ( $461 if I remember right ) . If you happen to be near Dallas, they will do the conversion for you. ( not for free )
YouTube was my savior doing the conversion !
