I bought a demo 2017 Adventure Island and notice the daggerboard extends past the bottom of the hull (3/8" at the deepest point). I would like to trim the daggerboard so it is flush with the hull. Should I trim it or leave it as is?

Why trim it? I don't see any harm that this tiny protrusion could cause.
