Is there a kit for upgrading a regular MirageDrive to a MirageDrive 180?

(edit) Apparently, it is possible. But you can also purchase a MirageDrive 180.

HOBIE MDGT TO MD180 TURBO V2 UPGRADE ASSEMBLY

Kit includes:

1 x 81527002 - V2 MD180 Mirage Drive Spine
1 x 72067002 - MD180 V2 Turbo Fin Kit
1 x 81486021 - Left / Forward MD180 V2 Shifter / Tendon Kit
1 x 81491021 - Right / Reverse MD180 V2 Shifter / Tendon Kit
2 x 8020030 - Clevis Pin to Suit MD180 Fins
2 x 81503100 - Split Ring
2 x 72545001 - MD180 Dome Decal

I've personally made about a dozen upgrades, ordering the parts separately.
My personal advice is to replace the three nuts you will remove from the old MD with new ones. (8050111 NUT 1/4-20 HX NYLOCK)

There is no kit, but it is possible. You only keep pedals, drums and chains. For the rest...It's over $500 in parts (USD), so plus labor and a few more parts.

The most important tool :)
You will need this hammer to take out the drum shaft and insert into the new spine.

I thought the hammer was to beat yourself with to prevent spending a huge amount of time and money just to gain a reverse! :D :D

I really need someone to hit me in the head with something solid because I want to have everything on my kayak. :)
