I've previously owned a Getaway and Adventure kayak. I had to get rid of the Getaway when my kids came along and I've missed sailing ever since. I've always wanted a TI that I could use with kids or for a "spirited" solo sail. Well, my wife surprised me and bought us a used TI this Christmas!!!! I am thrilled!

I don't know what year it is exactly, but it's at least a 2015 as it has the new seats. I've gone over it in great detail and there is only one component that doesn't work - the little drains under the seats. Other than that, there is some scuffing from where the port outrigger/ama rubbed against the hull right where the Hobie logo is when folded on the trailer. I'm pretty sure I can replace the drains and I can live with the scuffing (maybe it's a good place for a big Hobie sticker LOL).

Anyway, as I did when I restored my Getaway, I am sure I will have plenty of questions for you all. So more to come.
Perhaps I'll see some of you out on the water. I sail from Fred Howard Park in Tarpon Springs, FL.

Cheers

Ok. Checked the serial number and the last two digits are 15, so I am guessing this is a 2015.

In fact, you don't actually NEED the plugs. By definition, the water will be mostly flowing OUT not in
